It begins with a visit to Delhi to admire the monuments of the Mughal era, its colonial vestiges and for the incredible view of the Taj Mahal, it continues towards the pink city of Jaipur to experience the camel dance in Bikaner at the Jaisalmer Fort and Jodhpur to end in Udaipur, the city of lakes.

Day 1: Arrival New Delhi

Upon arrival at New Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport, meet to our representative & transfer to the hotel. The national capital of India, Delhi has always fascinated everyone. From the colonial period to today, it has seen kingdoms prosper, flourish and then disappear with the force of time. Visit Old Delhi passing in front of the magnificent Red Fort, a marvel in red sandstone, built on the banks of the Yamuna River by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Visit Raj Ghat (memorial of Mahatma Gandhi), Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. Pass in front of Chandni Chowk, once the imperial avenue of the Mughal royals, today one of the busiest shopping areas of the city. Rickshaw ride through the narrow streets of Chandni Chowk to savour the atmosphere of an oriental bazaar. Lunch at the local restaurant.

Continue to New Delhi with the 12th century Qutab Minar, gracefully hand-carved to its full height of 234 feet, and the Iron Pillar, which has withstood the ravages of time and has not rusted despite being 1500 years old. Continue to India Gate (a war memorial to the lives of Indian soldiers), the President’s Residence, formerly the Viceroy’s Palace, Parliament House and the Secretariat Buildings, an interesting mix of Victorian and 20th century architecture. Next visit the Sikh temple, Bangla Sahib. This magnificent, huge white marble gurdwara (Sikh temple), topped with gleaming golden onion domes, was built on the site where the eighth Sikh Guru, Harkrishan Dev, stayed before his death in 1664. Day 2: Delhi – Mandawa (5 hrs drive)

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Mandawa. On the way visit some rural villages & small markets. After lunch departure for what is a picturesque town in the state of Rajasthan. Known as the Open Air Art Gallery, the town is full of paved arches and magnificent havelis and forts. It is located in the heart of the Shekhawati region and is dotted with palaces and beautiful historic homes. The aura and atmosphere of the place reflects the social and cultural milieu of the place in the bygone era. Due to its regal architecture, it is also a popular location for film shoots. You will also visit the Dr. Ramnath Podar Museum. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Mandawa – Gajner

Breakfast at the hotel then departure towards Gajner. On the way visit Bikaner and the Junagarh Fort. Bikaner is a picture of true calm among other cities of Rajasthan. The colors, culture and spirit of life in the people of this land are unique. Famous for its enchanting camel safaris, Bikaner offers all the comforts in the form of small and large hotels for an avid traveler. Lunch at a local restaurant, near Junagarh Fort. Continue to Gajner. Gajner Palace is just 30 minutes from Bikaner and is one of the most famous palaces in the country. Situated on the banks of Gajner Lake and close to a wildlife sanctuary, this beautiful palace is built in red sandstone. Day 4: Gajner – Khimsar

Breakfast at the hotel and depart for Khimsar. Perched on the edge of the great Thar Desert in the heart of rural India, Khimsar Fort is one of a kind. The battle-scarred walls and turrets are reminders of the glorious past of this place. Originally, the walls, turrets and stables of the fort were built exclusively for war purposes in the early 16th century. Later, in the mid-18th century, the royal family moved in and built a new residence. Intricately carved stone windows were built in this section. Thakur Onkar Singh, the current chief and the 17th direct descendant of Rao Karamsiji (the original builder of the fort) built an additional, regal wing for himself in the 1940s. Arrive and check-in at the hotel with lunch. In the evening, transfer to the village of Khimsar, where you can admire the magnificent Thar Desert at sunset in all its splendor. This exclusive paradise is home to the Rajasthani “Dhani” huts (dwellings) that surround a tranquil blue lake, an integral part of the local Rajasthani community. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Khimsar – Osiyan – Jodhpur

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Sardarsamad with a visit to the Jain temples of Osiyan. Osian is a small town located about 27 km from Khimsar and is known for its sixteen ruined Jain and Hindu temples. These temples date back to the 8th and 11th centuries. The most important temples are the Sachhiyamata Temple and the Jain Temples, the best preserved. Lunch in the open air at Osiyan. Next, continue to the beautiful “blue city” of Jodhpur. Be it its strong position in Mehrangarh Fort or the strength shown in history by the rulers, Jodhpur is a living image of courage, will to fight through all that life has thrown at this place. Mehrangarh Fort is an architectural masterpiece, as are the stories behind its origin. The area near this fort is occupied by blue Brahmin houses, once a symbol depicting the caste of its inhabitants, while stories and remnants of ancient wars are carved in every corner, perfectly preserved by time. The confusing network of streets of Jodhpur is filled with small shops, perfect for the art of bargaining, enriched by the smell of roses, incense sticks and shops selling temple essentials. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Jodhpur

After breakfast at the hotel, excursion to the ‘Blue City’ of Jodhpur. This place came into being about 500 years ago, when the Rathore Rajputs made it a place to celebrate their war victories. From that time to today, Jodhpur has retained its charm. The palaces and forts built by them are a significant tale of the rich heritage of this city and its role in the development of Rajasthan. Carved on a low sandstone hill, this prestigious fort will amaze you. Its 10 km of walls once protected the inhabitants of the fort from sudden calamities. The memorial built for Maharaja Jaswant Singh II is known as Jaswant Thada. Some other monuments are also present besides this monument. The crowded and lively markets of Jodhpur sell everything that is most typical of the glorious culture of the city. Traditional food is an added attraction. Lunch at local restaurent, also home to a vintage car museum. In the late afternoon, excursion to the Bishnoi village to meet the “first ecologists in the world”, the Bishnoi, who have been protecting nature for over 500 years and are responsible for the survival of species such as the Black Buck antelope (now a rare and protected species). They share a beautiful relationship with this special animal: the antelope stays close to the Bishnoi homes, never moving away, and shows total trust towards the people. Guests also meet the Raikas (shepherds) with their splendid costumes, the Paliwals and the Meghwals (Brahmin farmers and weavers). Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Jodhpur – Kumbalgarh – Udaipur

After breakfast, departure towards Udaipur, with a stop in Kumbalgarh. Visit Mewar Fort, built in 1458 AD, the ultimate definition of architectural sophistication. Perched on a hill, surrounded by hundreds of temples, this creation of the legendary hero of Mewar, Rana Kumbha, is a sight to behold. It was also once the birthplace of the legendary warrior Maharan Pratap. The walls surrounding the fort are classified as the second longest wall, second only to the Great Wall of China. In June 2013, Kumbhlagarh was recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Lunch at somewhere in Kumbalgarh. Continue to Udaipur. Arrive and check in at the hotel. Day 8: Udaipur

Breakfast at the hotel and visit Udaipur, the city of lakes. Built around a network of artificial lakes, this small and quiet tourist destination is experiencing a major growth in tourism. Famous for its City Palace and Museum, Jagdish Temple and boating, this small and lively place offers a variety of activities. The beauty of the surrounding hills adds to the already mesmerizing waters of Lake Pichola. Udaipur is also famous for its small textile industry, spice market and local shops where you can buy antiques and art. It is an ideal destination for adventurous travellers and those seeking tranquility. A coffee at the famous Lake Pichola is ideal for some ‘tea time’ and a snack along with a cup of hot coffee. The City Palace offers an insight into the life and traditions of the royal family who built this extraordinary place. Lunch at local restaurent or if you budget is little bit upper can take at Raaj Bagh next to the famous Fatehsagar Lake. A visit to the City Palace is the first thing to do. Offering a splendid view, the palace is partly a museum that gives you the feeling of living in an era two centuries back. As you exit the palace, you will come across the famous Jagdish Temple. Simple yet ancient in appearance, this temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu exudes a lot of positive vibes. In front of it is the local market, where shops big and small try to attract customers. Buying local clothes, spices and antiques is like immersing yourself in the local life. Saheliyon ki Badi is a small park with blooming roses, dedicated to the “Ladies of Honour”. After spending a busy day, an exclusive boat ride on Lake Pichola and a tasting of local fast-food is a truly wonderful experience. Dinner and overnight stay in Udaipur.

Day 9: Udaipur – Jaipur

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, drive to Jaipur and visit Deogarh. Deogarh Mahal is an imposing structure built in the 17th century. It is located on a hilltop and offers a commanding view of the Aravalli mountain range and the many lakes dotted across the countryside. The history of Deogarh begins long before the construction of the majestic palace. Lunch at Deogarh Mahal. Drive to Jaipur and overnight stay in the pink city. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 10: Jaipur

Breakfast at the hotel and visit the pink city of Jaipur. Famous for its pink-colored walls and grand historical buildings, Jaipur is a city to visit with the right timing. Here, the crowds, the love of life, the colorful culture combine to offer a unique travel experience. The modern city and the ancient one strive to be together. Jaipur’s City Palace, where royalty takes on a unique form, features an impressive collection of antiques and ancient goods. The royal family still resides in one part of the palace, while the remaining portions have been converted into a palace museum for visitors. Hawa Mahal is a unique creation in itself for its artwork. The walls are decorated with mirrors and sitting at the windows of this palace is simply amazing. Amber Fort is located in the quieter part of the city and tells the stories of its rulers and their lives. An elephant ride takes you to the majestic Amber Fort. The miniature paintings on the walls are remarkable. The Hall of Victory is located inside the fort campus, also known as Jag Mandir. Sheesh Mahal, inside Jag Mandir, is a great example of the art and mirrors that were imported to India from Belgium a few centuries ago. Opportunity to try your hand at photography at the picturesque Hawa Mahal. Lunch at a local restaurant. The next attraction is the City Palace, which occupies almost a seventh part of the entire city of Jaipur. Converted into a museum, this palace still houses the royal family. Here you can admire a large collection of armor, daggers, rifles, swords and pistols and the extraordinary observatory made exclusively of stones and marble, called Jantar Mantar. In the evening, you will visit the illuminated Jaipur on board special open off-road vehicles and drive to the Amber Fort, dinner in the splendid halls of the Fort. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 11: Jaipur – Agra

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Agra. Organic lunch at the farm & visit a village. After the visit, continue towards Agra. Arrival and check-in at the hotel. Known for its world-famous monument and a reminder of an everlasting love, the Taj is located right in the heart of Agra. Silently set on the ever-flowing waters of the Yamuna River, the Taj reminds everyone of the glory, charisma and love for life that was powerfully carved in the heart of the Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan. The architectural importance of all the monuments like the Taj, Agra Fort and other tombs is such that travelers keep coming here and often return. Apart from the architectural wonders, this city is famous for its bustling markets, street stalls where one can find small replicas of the Taj Mahal and other noteworthy objects. This city rejuvenates the value of love in front of modern couples, who come here to celebrate their union and the feeling of love. Only in Agra can one witness the Mughal cuisine and architecture up close. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 12: Agra – Delhi

Breakfast at the hotel. Later, head to see the mesmerizing Taj Mahal. Standing silently, this magnificent monument is a reminder of the tenderness of King Shah Jahan’s heart for his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal. The view of this glorious place is awe-inspiring. The Yamuna, which flows at the back of the monument, is perfect for boating and spending quiet moments with yourself and your loved ones. (Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays). Proceed to visit Agra Fort. Agra Fort is a remarkable structure carved during the time of Akbar. Other notable structures like Jahangiri Mahal, Diwan -e-Khaas, Diwan-e-aam, Moti Masjid and Machchi Bhawan were built during the downfall of Shah Jahan. The museum preserves the legacy of the Mughal era and encompasses the art and culture of the rulers who reigned there. Lunch at a local restaurant. Later, depart for Delhi for the last night before proceeding. Arrive and check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 13: Departure transfer

After breakfast, last time shopping, as per your flight schedule transfer to the airport and flight back to your next destination or back home. End our services.
