What to Expect

We assure you to glimpse of leopards, jaguars, jungle cats, crocodiles, antelope and a wide variety of birds can also be spotted here. Finally you will see the enchanting erotic temples of Khajuraho. Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival Delhi

Your Ultimate Tiger Safari Tour in India will be start upon arrival at New Delhi international airport where our staff will be escort to you hotel and help check in. Overnight at hotel The Claridges or SIMILAR.

Day 2Delhi

After a leisurely breakfast, commence full day Old & New Delhi sightseeing. Certainly on this day the visit of the third largest mosque of the world, Jama Masjid, as well as the well-known Red Fort must not be missing. You will explore the British Delhi (India Gate, Parliament House, President Palace & Connaught Place). Overnight at hotel. (B)

Day 3Delhi – Jaipur (265 Km/ 5 Hrs drive)

Early in the morning you will drive from Delhi to Jaipur. Upon arrival, relax in the hotel before exploring the capital of Rajasthan. Afternoon walking tour in the “Pink City”. Overnight at Dera Mandawa or SIMILAR. (B)

Day 4Jaipur

After an early breakfast commence full day sightseeing of Jaipur “Pink City”. Morning your will visit Amer Fort, drive back to city and en route visit Jal Mahal (Water Palace). You will discover the extraordinary buildings such as the Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds), the City Palace and the historical observatory Jantar Manter. Overnight in Jaipur. (B)

Day 5Jaipur - Ranthambore National Park (190 Km/ 5 Hrs drive)

After breakfast drive to Ranthambore National Park. Upon arrival check in hotel after a short rest in the hotel, the afternoon starts with the first safari in the national park. With a bit of luck, you will already see the first tiger and other wildlife today. Overnight in Nahargarh Ranthambore or SIMILAR. (B/L/D)

Day 6Ranthambore National Park

Today, you are fully dedicated to the wildlife of the National Park. One safaris in the morning and another in the afternoon you roam in a jeep inside the park in search of tigers and other wild animals. Overnight in Ranthambore. (B/L/D)

Day 7Ranthambore – Agra (260 Km/ 6 Hrs drive)

Breakfast at hotel, later drive towards Agra, drive will not be boring for you on the 6 hour drive, frequently you will through the small villages and can observe the Indian life or simply process the impressions of the last days. En route visit Fatehpur Sikri, the former capital of the Mughal Empire with its monuments listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight in Double Tree by Hilton or SIMILAR Agra. (B)

Day 8Agra (Taj Mahal)

Very early in the morning, during sunrise visit the legendary Taj Mahal (closed every Friday). The unique building with its large park will inspire you. At the other end of the city, there is still the fortress and palace complex from the time of the Mughal emperors, the Red Fort. After breakfast visit Red Fort (Agra Fort) & Itmad-ud-Daula. Overnight in Agra. (B)

Day 9Agra - Orchha – Khajuraho (175 Km/ 5 Hrs drive)

After a quick breakfast, board the Bhopal Shtabadi Express Train early in the morning, which will take you to Jhansi in just over 3 hours. From here you drive the short distance to Orchha by car. This small town is the seat of the eponymous former principality of Central India and lies off the beaten track and hectic paths of mass tourism. Discover the many palaces and temples of the 16th and 17th century Bundela rulers, which still appear in their original perfection. Then continue to Khajuraho, where you will spend the night. Overnight at Hotel Golden Tulip or SIMILAR (B)

Day 10Khajuraho

Today, another highlight of Indian history awaits you. The temple district of Khajuraho consists of imposing buildings with erotic representations from the 10th to the 12th century, which are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The early temples of Khajuraho are built of stone, but have like the mud houses on the outskirts smooth and uneven exterior walls, only one entrance and no windows. Over the centuries, these simple early temples developed into increasingly complex structures with tall Shikhara towers. Overnight in Khajuraho. (B)

Day 11Khajuraho - Bandhavgarh National Park (250 Km/ 6 Hrs drive)

In the early morning you start the drive to Bandhavgarh National Park. After about 6 hours you reach your destination and can relax and enjoy your lunch. In the afternoon, take the first jeep safari. This national park is considered one of the most reliable places to spot wild tigers. Depend on luck… there are also other species of predators such as leopards, sloth bears, golden jackals or Indian mongooses and large herbivores such as Sambar deer, Indian muntjacs and various species of antelope. Like most parks in India, the Bandhavgarh National Park also hosts a huge number of bird species. Overnight at Wildlife Resort (Syna Tiger Resort or SMILAR). (B/L/D)

Day 12Bandhavgarh National Park

Before breakfast, it’s back on a jeep safari. After returning hotel, you will have plenty of time to have breakfast, relax and work through the impressions. Freshly fortified, in the afternoon we go on another safari to discover once again the world of tigers and other animals. Overnight at Wildlife Resort. (B/L/D)

Day 13Bandhavgarh National Park - Kanha National Park (250 Km / 6 Hrs drive)

Once again, you can enjoy the national park on a jeep safari. You’ll see, you cannot get enough of that. Back at the Wildlife Resort, enjoy a hearty breakfast and then drive to the Kanha National Park. Overnight at Wildlife Resort (Kanha Earth Lodge or SIMILAR). (B/L/D)

Day 14Kanha National Park

Jeep safaris in the Kanha National Park take place this morning and in the afternoon. The park is mainly known for its large mammals. Again, the chances are very good to meet Tiger and with luck to see a leopard, a red-haired or a sloth bear. In this national park you also have the opportunity to observe the last remaining wild highland Barasinghas. Of course, this region is home to other large mammals. Overnight at Wildlife Resort. Day 15Kanha National Park – Nagpur (220 Km/ 5 Hrs drive) – Delhi (Flight)

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Nagpur airport for the flight to Delhi. On arrival check in hotel. Overnight hotel Pride Plaza or SIMILAR. (B)

Day 16Delhi - Corbett National Park (280 Km/ 6 Hrs drive)

After breakfast drive through the rural India we drive from Delhi to the oldest national park of India and scenic very beautiful Corbett National Park at the foot of the Himalaya chain. Here, the “Project Tiger” began in 1973, with the aim to save the endangered Bengal tiger from extinction. Overnight Dhikala Forest Rest House or OUT SIDE of the Park (B/ D)

Day 17 & Day 18Safaris in Corbett National Park

For two full days we have time to explore the dense forests of the Saline or the open grasslands by horseback every morning and evening on the back of riding elephants or by jeep. With a little luck, we will be able to observe elephants, tigers, herds of Axis and porcupines, some species of monkeys and the abundance of birds. The time between the 2 safaris per day we have at leisure. (B/L/D)

Day 19Jim Corbett National Park – Delhi (280- Km/ 6 Hrs drive)

Morning enjoy the gem ride at Jim Corbett National Park, back to hotel. After breakfast drive to New Delhi. On arrival check in hotel for wash and change. Farewell dinner and provide the final dep. transfer to New Delhi international airport board onward flight No Lodging includes. (B/D)
