We will visit two of India's most famous national parks — Ranthambore and Bandhavgarh National Park — where the roar of the Bengal tiger echoes through dense jungles. In addition to a detailed tour of the Indian capital, we will explore the Pink City of Jaipur and, of course, marvel at the magnificent Taj Mahal in Agra. The journey concludes with a visit to the beautiful temples of Khajuraho, an artistic treasure of Indian history.

Itinerary

Upon arrival at New Delhi International airport meet & greet by our representative. Later transfer to your pre-booked hotel. After breakfast commence Old & New Delhi sightseeing.

Detailed tour of the Indian capital: the Red Fort (from the outside), the Friday Mosque Jama Masjid and the old town of Chandni Chowk. Then the India Gate, drive through the government district with the parliament building and the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun. We also see Qutub Minar, the largest stone tower in India.

Drive to Jaipur (264km, approx. 5 hours). The rest of the day is free to explore the bazaars and markets of the pink city.

Day 3 :
Jaipur

Excursion to Amber Fort (8km), one of the most beautiful palaces in Rajasthan. You will drive up to the fortress in a jeep and visit the unique palace complex. In the afternoon, a sightseeing program in Jaipur: the unique Palace of the Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace), the City Palace Museum (Maharaja Palace) with the museum and Jantar Mantar, the largest stone observatory in the world.

In the morning, continue to Ranthambore National Park. The national park is one of the most famous in all of India and covers an area of ​​410 square kilometres. In addition to tigers, you may also see leopards, bears, jackals, crocodiles and a variety of exotic birds. In the afternoon, your first safari in the park awaits you.

Another safari in the national park early in the morning. Then continue your journey to Agra (290km, approx. 7 hours). On the way, a stop in Fatehpur Sikri, the "Ghost city of the Mughal era". Visit the Mughal capital built by Akbar the Great. The red sandstone houses of the former ruling families are still so well preserved that they give the impression that the city was only recently abandoned.

Day 6 :
Agra

A whole day in Agra with a detailed tour of the Taj Mahal, whose silhouette is synonymous with all of India. The tomb was built by Mughal ruler Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz. You will also visit the tomb of Itmad-du-Daulah on the banks of the Yamuna and explore the impressive Red Fort. Eight kilometres outside of Agra in Sikandra, visit the Akbar Mausoleum, the tomb of Jalawaludin Mohammed, known as Akbar, the third and most important ruler of the Mughal dynasty who ruled from 1561 and was already called Akbar ("The Great") during his lifetime.

Early morning transfer to the Agra railway station. The train takes you to Jhansi. Here you will be picked up by your tour guide and continue to Khajuraho. On the way, a visit to Orcha, the former Bundela capital, with a sightseeing program: the Jehangir Mahal, Raj Mahal and the Chaturbhuj Temple.

In the morning, visit the western temple group. The "erotic" temples are a highlight of Indian temple culture with a never-before-seen sculptural decoration on the outer walls, famous for the many erotic depictions. Then continue to Bandhavgarh (240km, approx. 5 hours).

Two safaris in Bandhavgarh National Park, one early in the morning and one in the afternoon. Tiger sightseeing is dependent on your luck, you might see the king of the jungle.

The morning is free. Optionally, another safari in the park can be booked before continuing on to Jabalpur. The rest of the day is free for your own activities.

In the morning, a boat trip to the marble rocks of Bhedaghat. Later, transfer to the airport and return flight to Delhi. After a farewell dinner board onward flight. Our services will be terminate here.
