Foot and leg massages are very pleasant and used in many cases where whole body massage is contraindicated.
When starting a body detoxification process, we always start with a foot massage for one or more days. This is particularly necessary if the person being massaged has a large accumulation of toxin (Ama). This can be caused by poor diet or lifestyle errors (such as going to bed late), or by stress, negative emotions or trauma. This massage is surprisingly relaxing despite only being localized to a small part of the body.
The processes:
The foot massage begins with a warm foot bath with salt. We emphasize Marmas points and tense areas. During the Light Legs massage, Padabhyanga is completed by udvartana drainage in the legs.
These massages can be combined with all other Ayurvedic treatments.

The process:
We apply a log of paste around the area we want to treat, here the heart, to create a waterproof “well” into which we gently pour warm oil. The oil is replaced several times in a row during the treatment.
As it penetrates the body, the oil relieves tension and pain by relaxing the muscles and lubricating the system. Oleation soothes Vata which, when in excess, can block certain areas and certain emotions.
The treatment is recommended over several sessions before an Abhyanga massage. It can be combined with a Nabi Basti (see on the site) to improve its effectiveness.
Massage Pouches (Bags)
