Hyderabad or Kolkata / Guwahati: Morning arrive at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International airport in Guwahati; meet to our assistance on arrival and proceed to the hotel. Guwahati is the state capital of Assam situated near the river bank of the mighty Brahmaputra. Visit Kamakhya temple, one of the famous Hindu temple. Later enjoy a lunch in a traditional Assamese restaurant. In the afternoon visit the Assam state museum, Kalakshetra and have an overnight stay at the Hotel.
Guwahati/ Kaziranga (217 kms/ 5hrs): Morning after breakfast, drive to Kaziranga National park, the home of the One Horn Rhinoceros, Bengal Tiger and many other birds & animals. On arrival check in to the resort, have lunch and later go for a jeep safari inside the park. After the day's activity, have an overnight halt at Kaziranga.
Kaziranga/ Itanagar (290 kms/ 6hrs): Early morning go for an Elephant safari to have a close encounter with the one-horned Rhinoceros. Have breakfast and later drive to Itanagar. Visit the state Museum, where one can find the complete collection of tribal culture & traditional tribes of Arunachal Pradesh, visit local market and have an overnight halt at Itanagar.
Itanagar/ Ziro (167 kms/ 6hrs): Morning after breakfast, visit Mahayana and Hinayana (Theravada) Buddhist monastery, later drive to Ziro, the home of the Apatani tribe. Enroute visit Nyishi tribal villages. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel/tourist lodge at Ziro.
Ziro: Morning after breakfast, visit ethnic Apatani village of Hong, Hari, Hija and in the afternoon visit Bulla village. Late afternoon visit the local market and enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel/tourist lodge at Ziro.
Ziro/ Daporijo (168 kms/ 7-8 hrs): Morning after breakfast, drive to Daporijo, the district headquarter of upper Subansiri and on the way visit Nyishi tribal village of Pamluk, Boa-Simla, Raga. Enjoy an overnight stay at the Circuit House or at the village tourist lodge at Daporijo.
Daporijo/ Nacho: After breakfast, drive to Nacho which is recently open for foreign tourist in 2008, is the home of the Tagin tribe. Visit villages and meet the locals. Have an overnight stay at the inspection bungalow/local house.
Nacho/ Dumporijo: Morning after breakfast, drive back to Dumporijo which is 15 kms from Daporijo divisional headquarters. Enjoy the places and have an overnight stay at Dumporijo.
Dumporijo/Aalo (164 kms/7hrs): Morning after breakfast, take a drive to Aalo, en-route visit Galo tribal villages and on arrival at Aalo, visit the District Museum and craft centre (Emporium). Have an overnight stay at the hotel at Aalo.
Aalo: Morning after breakfast, excursion drives to visit Gallo tribal village of Kamba and Kerang and enjoy the pleasant weather and the scenic beauty out there. Have some recreation in the evening and an overnight stay at the hotel at Aalo.
Aalo/Mechuka (180 kms/7hrs): Morning after breakfast, drive to Mechuka, the last sub-divisional headquarter near Tibetan Autonomous Region and the home of the Memba tribe. Enjoy an overnight stay at the Inspection bungalow at Mechuka.
Mechuka: Morning after breakfast, 30 minutes trek to visit Buddhist monastery, later visit holy site of both Sikh and Buddhist religion, and after that enjoy your lunch and in the afternoon visit village around Mechuka. Enjoy an overnight stay at the Inspection bungalow at Mechuka.
Mechuka/Aalo (180kms/ 6hrs): Morning after breakfast, drive back to Aalo, en-route visit the local market and the nearby places in Aalo and once done, enjoy an overnight halt in the hotel.
Aalo/Pasighat (105kms/ 4hrs): Morning after breakfast, drive to Pasighat, the district headquarters of East Siang district, en-route visit Adi-Minyong village of Pangin, Renging, and on arrival visit the dist. Museum and the local market. Once done with day's activity have an overnight halt in the hotel.
Pasighat/Mebo/Aohali/Pasighat (60kms): Morning after breakfast, drive across Siang River on ferry to visit Adi-Padam village of Mebo and Idu-Mishmi village of Aohali, have local lunch in the village. Afternoon drive back to Pasighat and have an overnight halt in the hotel.
Pasighat/Sibsagar: Morning after breakfast, drive to ferry port at Bogibeel ghat, board ferry to sail across Brahmaputra river to Kareng Ghat and continue drive to Sibsagar, the historical capital of the Ahom dynasty who ruled the Brahmaputra valley for over 6 hundred years, one of the longest ruling dynasty of the World. On arrival check-in to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Sibsagar/Majuli (89kms/ 2hrs): Morning after breakfast, visit the tallest Lord Shiva temple, Rang Ghar the Ahom Amphitheatre, later drive to Nimati Ghat and cross Brahmaputra to Majuli island, the largest inhabitant river island in the world recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage Site. Majuli is the home of the followers of Vaisnavism sect taught by Sri Sankaradeva and Mishing tribe, the second largest tribe of Assam. Enjoy local fishing, food and drink and have an overnight stay in the local bamboo hut.
Majuli: Morning after breakfast, visit the Shatras (monastery), afternoon witness the organised monastic dance and enjoy an overnight stay in local bamboo hut.
Majuli/Jorhat: Morning after breakfast, visit Mishing tribal village and once done, in the afternoon after lunch board the ferry to Jorhat. In the evening, take a walk across the Gar-Ali market and enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.
Jorhat/Dibrugarh: Morning after breakfast, drive to Dibrugarh to catch the afternoon flight to Delhi for onward destination.
